1. Using a 6" card base, cut a black piece of card stock to create a layer on the front of the card, with another layer cut in white, stamp/die cut or paper punch paw prints to look like they are walking across the card.
  2. To create the scotty dog, cut in black and grey, also cut a small area around the eye in a brown colour. cit a piece of pattern paper to cover the back of the scarf. Using the embossing only method, emboss the die on to another piece of black card, this will give you an outline to fussy cut around to create a solid back to the dog.
  3. To create the pop-up lay the dog along the inside fold of the card, and mark lightly with a pencil where you want him to stand. Cut 2 slits 1" long and 1/2 " wide where his feet will be. Fold the card pushing the pop-ups in the opposite direction to the card fold. Stick all your inside layers together and decorate the inside as desired. I have used a die and stamped "Happy Mothers Day"
  4. Using a strong double sided tape stick the dog to your pop-ups
