1. Adhere a piece of green stripy or cardstock of your choice to the front of an A5 white card base leaving a slight border all the way round.
  2. Cut a smaller rectangle square in an accent colour and distress edges. Leave an inch or so of the green stripy cardstock border and adhere smaller rectangle to the stripy card base.
  3. Next, take a pretty topper, I used Hunkydory Shimmering Silk Traditional Decoupage with spring blossoms scene but any floral scene will do. Distress the edges and adhere to the accented card leaving a very small border.
  4. I then used a Sara Davies, new Shabby Chic Vintage Lace edge die and attached this to the bottom of the card and then die cut Marianne Design Collectables - Birds COL1311 ( available at Hobby Base ) and attached these using small foam pads for dimension and using spectrum noir sparkle pens went along the edge of the birds with a shimmer.
  5. I die cut a tag with Mum on using Dovecraft Heart Tag Die and applied “Mum” to the front of it finished it with a piece of ribbon.
  6. Lastly add some sparkle to the blossoms and gems to the butterfly’s using clear craft glue or glue pen.
