With autumn in full flow, what better way to show this than with this lovely autumn themed card. Sharon shows us how she designed this project using the Birds on a Wire mini die from Dovecraft which is available here: http://www.hobbybase.co.uk/birds-on-a-wire-steel-cutting-die.html

  1. Take some brownish red card stock and cut slightly smaller than a 6x6 card.
  2. Take some white card stock and cut a slightly smaller square than your previous cut.
  3. Sprinkle some brusho (red, yellow and orange) in the centre of the white square, then spritz with water and allow to dry
  4. Using Majestix oriental blossom and festive fir cones stamps, with Dew Drop Brilliance inks (cosmic copper, Rocket Red Gold and Sunflower),
  5. Stamp the branches and varying flowers around the brusho design.
  6. Cut out the Birds on a wire cutting die from black card stock and place it nestled in the branches of your design, help to blend by stamping some branches at the edges.
  7. Stamp and emboss your sentiment with black embossing powder.
  8. Create some flowers with the 2 smaller dies from the mini flowers cutting dies on paper coloured with the Rocket Red Gold ink and glue in place.
  9. Add the red-brown card stock onto your card with the finished image on top and Voila :)
