Love the new dies from Hobbybase, they are so easy to use and cut brilliantly. This was such an easy card to make and can be used with any paper and embossing folders. So easy to mix and match.

  1. I cut a piece of peach grained card a little smaller than my 6 inch card blank and used a small embossing folder with a brick wall effect which I trimmed and mounted on a co-ordinating card stock.
  2. Then I stuck a piece of paper with mock curtains on the back of window frame die cut, just to the top of the window panes.
  3. Stick this down onto the embossed card which I had smooched with some Memento  peanut brittle dew drop colour ink pad to give an aged look to the brick wall.
  4. I arranged the window ledge from the die cut mounting the smaller piece on the longer piece with 3D foam to make it stand out.
  5. Using flowers and leaves from my craft-stash I arranged and glued them around the left hand side of the window.
  6. Finishing off with a sentiment of choice and a toning infill.

"I live in the North East and have been paper crafting for over 30 years. I love die cutting, stamping and inking, alcohol colouring, water colouring, cd crafting, calligraphy and brush lettering to name but a few. Over the years I have supplied many shops and post offices with my cards and also taught crafting. I now prefer a quieter life and make cards for my regular customers, family and friends."
