1. Cut a rectangle die the size of a 5 x 7 card front in white card stock.

2. Cut 3 more adding a smaller die each time to the centre to create 3 frames, again in white card stock.

3. Using blending tools, use Spiced Marmalade & Candies Apple Distress Oxide ink to add colour to all your die cut pieces.

4. Optional, spray water or spray into your hand and flick water over the 3 frame dies, blot with paper and leave to dry.

5. Stamp the Cactus stamps using a terracotta colour ink for the pots and shades of green ink for the plants, you will need to stamp the pots first and mask with a post it note, before stamping the plants. I used Memento die inks in Potters Clay for the pot and Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves & Pistachio for the plants. I then fussy cut the images out.

6. Using foam tape, create your tunnel frame by starting with the smallest die cut frame and adding the next largest and so on to create a tunnel effect.

7. Add your cactus images to the card and fix the whole piece to a 5 x 7 card base.

"I currently live in Margate, Kent and a retired arts & design teacher. Several years ago I was introduced to die cutting and my interest in card making took hold. I'm currently a freelance demonstrator for all things paper craft and some mixed media, as well as working and running some challenge blogs. I love being able to create using dies and stamps and never tire of learning new techniques."
