Pink & white ‘With Love’ card by Lesley Rodham

    1. Emboss a piece of white pearlised card with the embossing folder, cut to size and attach to the front of a pale pink 4”x6” card.
    2. Cut 2 nesting ovals to fit into the aperture, the large one silver and the smaller one in the white pearlised card. Mat and layer the two ovals and add a sticker, or stamp a sentiment, onto the white layer.
    3. Attach the ovals to the base card inside the aperture on the embossed layer.
    4. Add 3 flowers over the cut out flower spaces on the embossed layer using ready made or die cut flowers. Add a flat backed pearl to the centre of each flower. Outline the embossed panel with pale iridescent glitter glue, and embellish the butterfly with the same glitter glue or with 3d pearl liquid.

‘Cottage Garden’ window card by Lesley Rodham

  1. Emboss a piece of ivory pearlised card with the embossing folder, and cut it to size ready to attach to the front of a cream 4”x6” card. Cut a piece of acetate the same size as the embossed card and attach to the back of the embossed card using double sided tape.
  2. Attach a pale ‘cottage garden’ type picture (I used the internet to find something suitable but a decoupage sheet could also be used) to the base card, ensuring that when the embossed card is placed over it the picture will show through the aperture. Then attach the embossed card to the base card using 2mm foam pads or tape so that it is slightly raised from the base card and the picture shows through the aperture.
  3. Decorate the front of the card with ready made or die cut flowers with a flat backed pearl or drop of 3d pearl liquid in the centre of each. Embellish the butterfly with 3d pearl liquid or glitter glue.
