Decorative Tags

28/05/2019 11:50

  1. Both the tags where made in the same way. I used coloured texture paste for the background of the tags. Purple/white on the cup cake tag and blue/white on the truck tag.

  2. I added the texture paste to the tag using an old gift card and swiped it across the tag in different directions to add interest.

  3. I cut all the die cuts out of coloured card and used 3D foam to add dimension.

  4. Then added coloured string to the tag, ready for a present.

Bright Butterfly Card

21/05/2019 11:50

  1. On a piece of plastic I wiped one of the distress oxides onto it and then sprayed some water onto it and mixed it with a paint brush. I then turned the plastic over onto my watercolour card and pressed it onto the card. Lifting it up and moving the colour around. I tried not to mix the colours to much but blended them together and layered the colours by drying them in between each application of colour.

  2. After drying the colours I flicked gold paint over it all.

  3. I then coloured the butterflies in black ink with a sponge, to make them stand out against the colourful background

  4. I then stamped a sentiment that went well with the butterflies.

    1. I cut a white card base to 4 1/2" x 11 3/4" and scored the long side at 5 7/8".

    2. Using a cloud effect die I cut 3 pieces out with white card.

    3. The unicorn was cut out from white glitter card.

    4. I layered the white clouds on the card front and stuck the unicorn down with foam pads.

    5. Taking a rainbow die I cut out 7 pieces in different colours.

    6. I glued down all the pieces to form a rainbow and slightly tucked them under the large cloud die cuts.

    7. I stamped the sentiment and stars with purple ink.
