Just Because Cards

12/09/2019 11:50

  1. To make these cards you will need a card base that measures 4” x 8” scored at 4”

  2. I used some double sided patterned paper for my first layer that measures 3.3/4” square.

  3. Using the reverse side I cut another piece that measures 2.1/8” x 3.3/4” layering that in the middle of the card.

  4. Next I cut a 2.1/2” square piece of black card and a 2.1/4” square white piece.

  5. Next I cut a 2.1/2” square piece of black card and a 2.1/4” square white piece.

  6. To finish the card off I used some matching sequins that I had in my stash.

Balloon Birthday Wishes Card

05/09/2019 11:50

  1. To make this card you will need a card base that measures 8” x 5.1/2” scored at 4”

  2. The next layer measures 3.3/4” x 5.1/4” I used a balloon themed double-sided paper as I thought this went perfectly with the Hot Air Balloons Sweet Dixie die I was using.

  3. I then cut a 1” x 5.1/4” strip of the same paper but used the reverse side.

  4. I then used the balloon die cut this out in silver foil being very careful not to poke the pieces out.

  5. Then cut the same balloon out again using white card and layering onto the silver foil so you can see the foil through the white.

  6. Very pretty. I used one of the dies I had in my stash for the sentiment.

Wedding Wishes Card

27/08/2019 11:50

  1. To make this card you will need a card base that measures 6” x 12” scored at 6” I used black card.

  2. For my base layer I used some beautiful grey patterned paper cut at 6.7/8” square.

  3. For the next layer again I used black card that measures 4” squared and another patterned paper that measures 3.7/8” squared.

  4. Using the gorgeous Birds and flowers die I used a background stamp that I had in my stash heat embossed in silver then cut out with the die leaving beautiful flecks of silver all around the die cut.

  5. I then used two circle punches to cut out a silver and white circle layering them on top of each other.

  6. Stamping in the centre my sentiment and heat embossing that in silver.

  7. I used some organza ribbon the make a lovely bow.
