  1. To make this card you will need a card base that measures 8” x 6” scored at 4”

  2. White layering piece that measures 3.3/4” x 5.3/4”

  3. I used my water brush to splatter the different colour inks all over the white layer. I then used the same colours as the splatter to create a water colour background.

  4. I cut my balloons out using the watercolour background I had created and stuck them over the splatter.

  5. So simple and easy to make but very effective.

From Me to You Card

  1. To make this card you will need a 4” x 8” card base scored at 4”

  2. You will need two layering pieces that measure 3.7/8” square and 3.3/4” square layer these into your card base one on top of the other.

  3. Of course you will need the Birds and flowers cutting die I cut myself a white card base that measured 4” x 4” blended my two chosen ink colours then cut out with the die and glued it onto my card.

  4. I added a “from me to you” sentiment that I had in my stash using silver foil.

  5. I just love the simplicity of this card and how much it stands out just using the die and inks.

Posted in Cards with Diecuts Danielle Rose By Danielle Rose

Hi, my name is Danielle Rose I am from South Yorkshire.

I originally started my craft journey sewing. I used to make dresses and blankets for my daughters. One day while browsing YouTube I came across a paper craft tutorial and another and another. I was hooked straight away believe it or not I used to use my tail comb and a ruler to make the score lines on my card before going on to buy the proper tools. I laugh about it now when I look back, but it did work perfectly at the time that was about three years ago. I haven't touched my sewing machine since.

As well as paper crafting, I am a full-time mum to my four beautiful daughters and wife to my amazing husband Simon. I enjoy going on walks and bike rides in the summer.

Our youngest daughter has autism, so I have to stay home while hubby works. I needed to find something to keep me busy while being home all day. Paper crafting is perfect as I get to do what I love and be a mum and the same time. I also do tutorials on my YouTube channel showing how I make the projects I design

I enjoy using both stamps and dies when creating my projects, I do prefer to make 3d items but still enjoy making cards here and there.

My favourite brands to use are Tonic, Tim Holtz and Crafters Companion.
