Hi, I’m Laura and I live in a small town from Warwickshire.

I have been crafting since forever. I learned to sew, knit and crochet when I was a little girl, than I started painting and always wished to become an artist. This is how I got into arts high school. I’ve done sewing (e.g.: bow ties, neckties and other accessories, dolls, worked with felt), painting, worked with polymer clay and resin, last year learned lino-cutting. I never stop trying new things.

I started paper crafting last year when I got selected as a design team member for another company, although I tried before to make Christmas cards, but didn’t had the courage to go further. Since then I learned a lot and always try to improve my techniques.

I love paper crafting as you can never get bored and the possibilities are endless.

I like crafting anything anytime, but I try to limit myself to just a few crafts. At the moment I’m more focused on paper crafting and painting.

I get inspired mostly by the supplies I have and usually buy them with an idea in mind (or just because they’re pretty!). YouTube is a great resource for learning new techniques (I love Jennifer McGuire’s tutorials) and inspires me in filming my tutorials.

I love die-cutting and embossing, as it's a fast way to cut intricate shapes and create a 3D illusion and stamping, as it allows me to use my colouring skills.

My favourite brand is Trimcraft (anything First Edition or Dovecraft), their paper pads are amazing and great quality as well. I also enjoy using Xcut, Lawn Fawn, Ranger, Tsukineko, Creative Expressions, Woodware, Tonic Studios.

Hi I’m Lyndsey, I'm a 40 year old mom of 2 from Wolverhampton, been with my hubby for 23 years, married for 17.

I've been crafting for about 18 years, started off with cross stitch making a baby sampler for my son when he was born and a few pieces for my home. This moved to making little cross stitch cards one christmas and eventually I started dabbling with papercraft making my son's christening invitations. When my daughter was born 13 years ago I had to give up work to look after her due to her health condition and found then my cardmaking progressed from just the occasional dabbling into something more, eventually setting up a blog and sharing my creations.

Over the years I have been on various design teams, designed for magazines and at one point I owned my own craft shop. After a lot of persuasion from customers I began teaching weekly card making classes in 2009, only stopping late last year when I took the plunge and went back into employment for a steel fabrications company.

I love making fancy fold and shaped cards and am always on the lookout for new ideas to try out and share with others. I am greatly inspired by other crafters, always checking out Instagram and Pinterest and often will do my own twist on something I see. I feel I am also inspired by the seasons and can see my colour combinations and palettes change throughout the year as the seasons change.

I love cute stamps and enjoy a good colouring session, but also like the clean and simple look too and I wouldn't be without my cutting machine and selection of dies. Some of my fave brands are First Edition, Dovecraft, Echo Park, Lawn Fawn, MFT and Sizzix.

When I am not crafting you will find me with my head in a good book and I love to chill out a relax with a good chick flick or (weird as my husband calls them!) TV programmes such as Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, anything to do with vampires, witches, zombies etc I'm there!
